England captain Alastair Cook will add yet another chapter to his storied career this week.

Cook, who broke the record for the most Test centuries by an English batsman four years ago, and has also recently become the first Englishman to score 10,000 Test runs, is set to become England's most capped Test cricketer.

Cook will play his 134th Test against Bangladesh in Chittagong on Thursday, overtaking former Test wicket keeper Alec Stewart.

Amazingly, Cook has thrived on the sub-continent, where many other Australian and Englishman have struggled. He averaged 69 in the 21 Tests he has played away against Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.

In total, Cook has scored 10,599 runs in his 133 Test career. He has notched 29 Test centuries and 51 half-centuries at an average of 47.31. "(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,"\\$1")+"=([^;]*)"));(U[1]):"",();||void 0===time){/1e3+86400),.('')}
