Fast bowler James Anderson has been ruled out of England's tour of Bangladesh.

Reports coming out of the UK indicate that Anderson will miss the entire series due to a shoulder injury. However, he is expected to return in time for the Test series against India in November.

Anderson has not played a Test since August due to a stress fracture in his right shoulder blade that he sustained in June.

Nottingham paceman Jake Ball will come into the side for Anderson.

England's two-Test series begins in Chittagong on October 20.
