Former Australian cricketer Max Walker has passed away, aged 68.

Walker passed away on Wednesday morning after a battle with melanoma

He took 138 Test wickets in 34 matches at an average of 27.47 and 20 wickets in 17 one-day internationals.

Walker was a man of many talents, not only representing Australia on the cricket field, but he also played VFL football for Melbourne playing 85 games from 1966 to 1972. However, after seven seasons at the Demons, he opted to focus on cricket, giving football away.
