Alex Hales and Eoin Morgan during the 2nd ODI Royal London One-Day match between England and Sri Lanka at Edgbaston on June 24, 2016 in Birmingham, England.

England captain Eoin Morgan and Alex Hales have both returned to their ODI and Twenty 20 squads for England's three-week tour of India in January.

The pair missed England's most recent limited-overs tour of Bangladesh in October amid security concerns, but have both been recalled for this series.

Joe Root is the third player to come into the side following the Bangladesh tour, as Ben Duckett, Steven Finn and James Vince are all withdrawn.

England have been on a hot streak over their past 12 ODI matches winning nine times, and coach Trevor Bayliss is more than happy to welcome back both Morgan and Hales into the team.

"No one was annoyed that they didn't go [to Bangladesh]," Bayliss said.

"They are good mates of all the players in the team. There are certainly no problems at all."

England will play India in three ODIs before a three-match T20 series, with the first ODI beginning in Pune on January 15.
