Former Australian quick Doug Bollinger has re-signed with the Sydney Sixes for BBL06.

Bollinger will suit up for his third season at the Sixes, who are $7.50 to win this season's title, after joining the franchise in 2014.

“It’s a great team, and a great bunch of guys,” Bollinger said.

“It’s good to stay at home over Christmas and stay with NSW basically, and the Sixers always have fun.

“I’ve been around some of these guys for a long time and everything just moulds really well here and they’re a very successful team so it’s good to stay around."

Bollinger, who played 12 tests and 39 ODIs for Australia, took seven in eight matches for the Sixes last season, as he led the attack in the absence of Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc who were on national duty.
