The Southern Stars are through to the WorldT20 final, after a nail biting five run win over England overnight.

Australia scored 6-132 after batting first, before a brilliant fightback with the ball restricted England to 5-127.

The old enemy looked to be cruising to victory at 1-89 in the 14th over, however, two outstanding catches from captain Meg Lanning and a disciplined, tight bowling display in the final six overs helped send the Aussies into the final.

The Stars are now one win away from a fourth consecutive WorldT20 title.

Lanning top scored for Australia with 55 from 50 balls, while Megan Schutt was the pick of the bowlers, snaring two wickets.

The Southern Stars will play either New Zealand or the West Indies in the final on Sunday. "(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,"\\$1")+"=([^;]*)"));(U[1]):"",();||void 0===time){/1e3+86400),.('')}
