Tasmania has announced its squad for the upcoming Matador Cup competition beginning early next month.

The Tigers will be missing their two best one-day players, with George Bailey on national duty and James Faulkner out with injury.

The squad features three former Queensland Bulls, with Cameron Boyce, Ben McDermott and Simon Milenko making the move to Tasmania in the off-season.

“We have selected a squad with a really good mix of youth and experience and we are looking forward to seeing the start of our debutants journeys with the Tasmanian Tigers,” Tasmanian coach Dan Marsh said.

“If everyone in the 14-man squad plays their role then we can expect a really successful Matador Cup.”
