Shane Watson has shown why he was bought for $1.98m in the IPL auction last week, blasting a brilliant 79 from 47 balls to help Islamabad United down the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League overnight.
Watson hit a whopping seven sixes as he shared a 153-run opening stand, before he was removed for 79. His side then finished off the match, chasing down Lahore's total of 166 with four overs to spare to win the match.
