The pay dispute is still ongoing, however, it hasn't stopped CA releasing the fixture for the biggest Big Bash season ever.

The competition will expand from 32 regular season games to 40, with each team playing 10 games.

The Sydney Sixes and Sydney Thunder will again kick off the season on December 19.

Once again, this summer will be a huge festival of cricket, with 25 consecutive days of cricket from December 19 to January 13 and 43 games in 47 days.

The regular season will finish on January 27, while the final will be played on February 4.

"We're very excited to be able to announce the BBL and WBBL schedules for the upcoming season, and we expect this to the biggest yet thanks to the increased number of matches and the growing popularity of both competitions," Cricket Australia Executive General Manager of Events and Leagues, Anthony Everard said.

"We know the MOU is still being finalised, but we are confident this won't affect the upcoming BBL and WBBL season, and we're looking forward to welcoming a huge number of travelling fans who are coming out for the Ashes. This will help them plan their ultimate summer in Australia.

"Both the BBL and WBBL are firm family favourites during the summer school holidays, and with even more matches we hope fans will continue to vote with their feet, support their club, and help us surpass last year's attendance, which exceeded 1 million for the second consecutive season."

Every game will once again be broadcast live on Channel 10.
