Western Sydney Wanderers have reportedly signed Japanese midfielder Jumpei Kusukami.

The World Game has reported that Kusukami has signed a one-year deal with the Wanderers and he is set to be the club's designated Asian player for next season's Asian Champions League campaign.

Kusukami, 27, has had stints at two Japanese clubs, in Kawasaki Frontale and Cerezo Osaka.

He is the Wanderers third signing of the transfer window, having already signed Spanish defender Aritz Borda and Uruguyan midfielder Bruno Pinatares.
