Australian batsman Shaun Marsh has been ruled out of the remainder of the IPL due to a back injury.

Marsh joins brother Mitch (side strain) and Aussie captain Steve Smith (wrist) in pulling out of the tournament in recent days due to injury.

The 32-year-old picked up the injury during the Kings XI Punjab six-wicket loss to the Kolkata Knight Riders on April 19.
