Captain Steve Smith has confirmed that Australia will play two debutantes in the first ODI against India at the WACA tomorrow.

Victorian paceman Scott Boland and Western Australian bowler Joel Paris are the duo to earn their first caps for the national side.

It is the first time Australia has had multiple debutants in an ODI side since January 2013, when Ben Cutting and Kane Richardson debuted together.

India is yet to name their final XI for the match.

Australia XI: Warner, Finch, Smith (c), Bailey, Maxwell, M Marsh, Wade (wk), Faulkner, Boland, Hazlewood, Paris.
