Australia and Pakistan will clash in the second T20 World Cup semi-final, with a spot in the decider on the line. Here you can find all the information about the match, as well as how to live stream it, and watch it on TV in Australia.

The clash between Australia and Pakistan is scheduled to get underway at 1am (AEDT) on Friday, November 12.

That said, it will get underway at midnight on Thursday night for those in the AEST timezone (i.e. Queensland), 12:30am in South Australia, 11:30pm in the Northern Territory and 10pm if you’re in Western Australia.

How did Australia and Pakistan qualify for the semi-finals?

Australia were in Group B during the tournament, winning four of their five games and managing to qualify for the knockout rounds on net run rate behind England and ahead of South Africa. It meant they finished second in their group, marking a rare appearance beyond the group stage in a T20 World Cup for the men from down under.

Pakistan, on the other hand, have been the dominant force. They are undefeated, and while they did have the easier group on paper, they also hammered New Zealand and India, who are two of the best teams in the world, with absolute ease.

Who are the favourites?

Pakistan, as the undefeated team so far, come into this tournament with all the form and rightly as favourites.

With David Warner managing to find form, some weapons in the middle order in the likes of Glenn Maxwell and co, and a bowling attack which has been on fire led by a resurgent Adam Zampa, Australia are hardly out of this.

It doesn’t mean they will have it easy though. Pakistan’s batting has been something to behold, led by Babar Azam, and if the Aussies can’t slow that down, they will barely stand a chance of competing with the Pakistanis.
