Each side has played 14 games, and the final four is now set in place. Here is a quick guide to the Australians who may feature in the IPL playoffs.

MUMBAI INDIANS

Led by Rohit Sharma, Mumbai claimed top spot. They will play 2nd place (Rising Pune) in a qualifying final, with the winner booking a spot in the grand final.

Mitchell Johnson is the lone Australian that plays for the Indians. The veteran quick has only played three times, taking three wickets. His economy (7.25) has been respectable, while he has limited opportunity with the bat.

Hopefully Johnson makes an appearance in the finals, however it is unclear if he will.

RISING PUNE SUPERGIANTS

Steve Smith has led his side to a 2nd place finish after the regular season. They face Mumbai in the qualifying final in just a few days time. Smith has been excellent throughout the tournament, hitting 420 runs at an average of 42. He is the key to Rising Pune's success.

Dan Christian has been one of the surprise packets of IPL 10, featuring in 11 games. He has been effective with the ball, taking nine wickets and recording an economy of 7.21. He has also shown his ability to be a pinch hitter lower down the order, scoring 75 runs at a strike rate of almost 160.

Adam Zampa is another Australian who plays for the Supergiants. He has only played four times so far this tournament, however has bowled very well and took two wickets in Rising Pune's final game of group stage.

Usman Khawaja also plays for Rising Pune, however is yet to feature in the tournament. It is incredibly unlikely they will call upon him for the finals.

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD

The Sunrisers finished 3rd, which means they will play against Kolkata in a do-or-die clash. The winner will play the loser of the qualifying final for a chance to play in the rand final.

David Warner leads Hyderabad, and is having an amazing tournament. He has been head-and-shoulders above the rest of the competition with the bat. He leads IPL10 in runs, registering 604 at an average of 60.4. He has four 50s, and also has hit a blistering ton. Can Warner lead his side to back-to-back titles?

Moises Henriques has featured in 12 games for the Sunrisers, and has performed well. He has scored 277 runs at 46. He hasn't done as well with the ball, however his best match figures of 1/6 was good.

Ben Cutting and Ben Laughlin are also listed Hyderabad players. Cutting has made four appearances, while Laughlin is yet to feature. It's unlikely either of them will play in the finals.

KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS

There were fears Chris Lynn would miss the rest of the tournament when he went down with another shoulder injury. However, he made his return and barely missed a beat. In his five games for Kolkata he has scored 285 runs at an average of 71.25, and a strike rate of 186.27. Lynn could be the x-factor in these playoffs.

The other Australian Kolkata player is Nathan Coulter-Nile. The quick has played six games so far, and has performed relatively well with the ball. His 11 wickets have come at a strike rate of 11.63, while his best figures were 3/21. He is a possibility of playing in the finals.
