Brisbane Heat leg-spinner Samuel Badree has been included in the 13-man squad to host the Sydney Sixers on Wednesday.

Badree is returning from a hamstring injury he suffered in their loss to the Sixers at the start of the month, which caused him to miss four matches.

The Heats form dipped during the No.1 ranked T20I bowler's absence, losing two of their final four matches.

He replaces paceman Nick Buchanan in the squad for the semi-final, which is close to a sell-out, with only 4000 tickets remaining.

For the Sixers Jordan Silk replacing Will Somerville is the only change to their 13-man squad.
