Australian legends Brett Lee and Brad Haddin have named their lineups for the fifth and final Ashes Test starting on Friday in Hobart.

There has been much debate all series around who should join David Warner at the top of the order and twin centuries from Usman Khawaja in Sydney has only heated up the chatter.

Travis Head is set to come back into the side at number five after missing the fourth Test due to Covid, while Khawaja has made himself just about undroppable.

Marcus Harris has improved as the series has gone on but is still yet to make a big score and that is what ultimately may cost him according to the pair of New South Welshman.

Lee said Khawaja had to go to the top of the order- where he averages 97 in Test cricket, with Head an obvious inclusion in the middle-order.

"I want him (Khawaja) to go from number five because I've got Travis Head," Lee said on Fox Sports.

"He'll come back in naturally. My inclusion is Khawaja at the top."

Haddin agreed that Harris had to make way for Head, meaning the popular Khawaja would go to the top of the order, but his changes didn't stop there.

The former gloveman also believes rest is in order for cult figure Scott Boland who has burst onto the scene in the last two Tests.

Boland has taken 14 wickets at an average of just over eight and a strike rate of just 23.6.

However, Haddin believes with the final Test being played under lights, Western Australian Jhye Richardson is the man to go for with the pink ball.

"I've got Boland out. To me, Boland started to look sore in the Sydney Test," Haddin said.

"He's done an unbelievable job but it's a pink-ball test and I thought Jhye Richardson was outstanding in Adelaide, especially in the second innings.

"He got his length right and got five wickets. I'd bring him in for Boland to have a fresh bowler going into this last Test."

Richardson took 5/42 in the final innings at the Adelaide Oval in his last Test match before he was forced out of the team with an injury.
