Chris Lynn appears to have dislocated his left shoulder in Kolkata's game against Mumbai.

The Australian Twenty20 star was running towards the boundary chasing a Jos Buttler strike. He attempted to catch the ball, diving full length. Immediately after landing Lynn motioned to the support staff.

This is yet another injury, in what has been a long line of shoulder problems for Lynn. It also comes after he missed some of the BBL earlier this year due to a serious neck problem. The explosive batsman had surgery on the same shoulder in 2014.

Kolkata went on to lose the game by four wickets. Lynn managed 32 runs off 24 balls in the Knight Riders innings.

In the first game of the tournament, the Australian put on a show. He scored an unbeaten 93 off 41 balls, and combined with Gautam Gambhir for an unbeaten opening stand of 184.

Lynn summed up just how he, and the rest of the cricket public, felt after the injury.

There has been no update on the extent of the injury, and it is unclear if Lynn will play any part in the rest of the IPL.
