Marcus Stoinis has been warned by English Cricket Board match referee Dean Cosker, but has otherwise escaped sanction for appearing to suggesting opponent Mohammad Hasnain was chucking to dismiss him during The Hundred.
Playing for the Southern Brave against the Oval Invincibles, Stoinis was dismissed by Hasnain on a vicious short ball that was clocked at 142 kilometres per hour.
Stoinis could only scoop the ball to mid-off where a simple catch was taken.
A visibly frustrated Stoinis then appeared to mock the action of Hasnain walking off the ground, raising his arm and then lowering it in a chucking type motion.
The incident attracted plenty of criticism, however, Stoinis wasn't drawn for comment on it following the game, which was lost by the Brave.
According to CricInfo, Stoinis was spoken to by the match official and handed a verbal warning, but not reprimanded officially meaning he will have no fine to pay or matches to be suspended for.
Hasnain has previously been suspended from bowling during the last edition of the Big Bash League after being reported for a suspect action by Australian umpires on more than two occasions - policies mean if a bowler is reported twice in the same season they will then be suspended from bowling.
Arjun Nair is the other bowler who was recently cited by Australian umpires for their action being suspect.
Hasnain was cleared to return to bowling in June after changing his action.
