This year's Ashes series will go down to the three-match Twenty20 series, after the lone Test match ended in a draw on Sunday.
After finishing the ODI series with a 2-1 lead, Australia needed a win in the Test to wrap-up the Ashes. However, England's top order held firm to force a draw and ensure they are still alive in the competition.
The hosts declared on 9-448, with a first innings of 168 runs, thanks largely to Ellyse Perry's incredible 213 not out.
The Southern Stars hoped to claim all 10 English wickets on the final day, but were met by some strong resistance, with Heather Knight (79 not out) and Georgia Elwiss (41 not out) batting out the day.
Australia currently lead 6-4 on points heading into the T20 series, with England needing to win all three of the remaining matches to win the Ashes.
Ellyse Perry was awarded player of the match honours for her double-ton, plus figures of 3-59 in the first innings with the ball.
