The Australian Cricket Legends were in action overnight in India against the Bangladesh Legends at the Road Safety World Series 2022.

The Aussie Legends lineup was headlined by the likes of Brad Haddin, Shane Watson, Brad Hodge and Brett Lee.

Australia went in to bat first where they made a solid total of 159 after opener Shane Watson made 35 before being dismissed by Bangladesh's Elias Sunny.

A collapse of the order occurred after Watson's dismissal at 2/73, the Aussies found themself 5/90 shortly after.

Enter Brad Haddin. and the former Australian wicketkeeper notched up a solid 58 runs off 37 balls, which included four 6's to save Australia's innings.

Interestingly, ex-AFL player George Horlin-Smith was in the Aussie lineup and into bat at No.7, where he made just the seven runs.

Horlin-Smith later went on to bowl 1/15 from two overs and took the wicket of Bangladesh batsman Nazmus Sadat.

Tha Aussies had a decent start to the bowling taking three wickets in the first five overs.

Australia had a total of eight bowlers in rotation with each getting one wicket, with Brad Hodge being the only exception.

The match went down to the wire as Bangladesh needed two runs to win off the final ball of the match, but were run out, falling short of victory.

Haddin was named Man of the Match after his 58 runs during Australia's innings.
