Bangladesh

Bangladesh's stature as a cricketing nation continues to grow, with more Test cricket in the 2023-2027 calendar as they play 37 of the longest format during the period. It includes a run at the back end of the calendar with four two-match series against the West Indies, South Africa, England and Australia within five months.

They also play more than 70 ODIs, and more than 70 T20Is, with the team to be exceptionally busy in the shorter formats.

England

England will play 51 Tests, 57 ODIs and 64 T20s through to 2027, with big five-match series against India and Australia headlining both home and away.

They are also one of the countries to be involved in a tri-series throughout this iteration of the calendar in 2026 against Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Their home summers will stretch into September as well, with the English Cricket Board attempting to create a specific window for The Hundred.

India

India play slightly fewer Tests than the other members of the big three, rounding out with 44 across the period of the FTP. That is headlined by 14 Tests against Australia and 10 against England, with their only other series at more than two Tests being when they host New Zealand in October and November of 2024.

As expected, they play a mountain of T20 cricket though, playing 76 matches in the format, which includes eight five-match series.

Ireland

Ireland play the least cricket of any team on the FTP between 2023 and 2027, only making it onto the park for 14 Tests. Virtually of those are against Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan, although they have one each against New Zealand, Sri Lanka and rivals England.

59 ODIs and 53 T20Is have also been scheduled for the Irish, with a three-ODI and one-T20I series against Australia in 2024 a headline.

New Zealand

New Zealand play less Test cricket than some of the other big nations around the world with only 38 scheduled, mainly brought on by the number of two-match series they will play.

They make up for it though with a staggering 69 ODIs and 78 T20Is, which is also helped by a tri-series in each format.

Pakistan

The fixtures for the FTP for Pakistan are dominated by T20 cricket, with the nation to play 75 internationals over the duration.

They will only play 32 Tests, with the biggest challenges likely to be three-match away series against Australia (2023-24) and England (2024).

A seven-match T20 series in September and October is also curious.

Sri Lanka

Like the other sub-continent nations outside of India, Sri Lanka will play fewer Tests during this cycle of the future tours programme, with just 28 currently scheduled and no three-match series for its duration.

63 ODIs and 60 T20Is will make up the bulk of their cricket though, with a couple of series against India likely to be their measuring stick.

A staggering 84 matches in the shortest form of the game are on their calendar, with a quartet of five-match series.

Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe will play 23 Tests over the journey of this FTP, however, the vast majority come against Afghanistan, Ireland and Bangladesh, with two against New Zealand and South Africa in 2025 to be their biggest challenges, both of those series being played at home.

More than 50 ODIs and T20Is will provide most of their international cricket.
