Chris Gayle was at his devastating best overnight, smashing an unbeaten century of just 47 balls, as the West Indies defeated England by six wickets overnight.
England batted first, scoring 6-182, before the Windies chased down the target with 11 balls to spare.
Gayle blasted five fours and 11 sixes in the fastest century in the tournament's history, surpassing his own 50-ball record from the 2007 World T20.
Gayle's innings also broke the record for the most number of sixes in a World T20 innings and now holds the record for the most sixes in the history of the format (98), surpassing New Zealand's Brendon McCullum (91).
After losing Johnson Charles for a second ball duck, before Gayle and Samuels (37 off 27) began bludgening the England attack.
Danesh Ramdin (12) and Dwayen Bravo (2) fell cheaply midway through the innings, but it mattered little as Gayle put on a master class in Twenty20 batting to remain unbeaten on 100, with Andre Russell 16 not out.
