A group of international cricketers, including former Australian representative Ben Cutting, headlined the Nepal T20 league draft last weekend.

Other notable names drafted include Rahkeem Cornwall (West Indies), Niroshan Dickwella (Sri Lanka), Carlos Braithwaite (West Indies), Angelo Mathews (Sri Lanka) and Mohammad Hafeez (Pakistan).

The tournament will feature six teams and will run from September 24 to October 22.

The teams are Kathmandu Gorkhas, Lumbini All Stars, Biratnagar Super Kings, Janakpur Royals, Pokhara Avengers and Farwest United.

All squads were believed to have needed 11 Nepali players and five internationals, but two teams have failed to subscribe to this, so it remains to be seen what happens with their squad registration.
