Australian pacemen Mitchell Johnson and Patrick Cummins are amongst seven free agents demanding the highest price at the IPL player auction in a fortnight.

The auction for the 2017 IPL will be held on February 20 and seven players have nominated themselves at the highest price base of $390,000AUD.

Off-spinner Nathan Lyon and wicketkeeper Brad Haddin have listed themselves at the second highest price base of $290,000AUD.

More than 750 players have nominated themselves for the draft, only 76 players, including 28 from overseas can be purchased.

As well as Johnson and Cummins, Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes and Eoin Morgan, Ishant Sharma and Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews have nominated themselves at the highest price.

Johnson was amongst a host of notable players released at the end of the 2016 season. Including Kevin Pietersen, who revealed he will not be returning to the tournament in 2017.
