Australia has named it's XI for a three-day tour game against India A and Usman Khawaja has been left out of the side.

Matt Renshaw and Shaun Marsh have been included in the side for the warm up match in Mumbai on Friday. Notably, Khawaja is the only specialist batsman in the touring party to not be included in the XI.

Khawaja could come into the side for the first Test should Shaun Marsh drop to No.6. However, both Mitch Marsh and Glenn Maxwell are also in the side competing for that No.6 spot. According to the line-up Maxwell will bat below Matthew Wade.

The XI selected by Trevor Hohns and Darren Lehmann will have at least two changes from the side to face India in Pune, pacemen Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood will come into the side.

As expected Australia will take two frontline spinners into the match with both Nathan Lyon and Steve O'Keefe in the line-up.
