Australia has been given a huge boost ahead of the fourth Test, with Indian captain Virat Kohli ruled out of the match through injury.

Kohli, who injured his shoulder while in the field during the third Test, underwent a rigorous fitness test on Saturday morning, but ultimately was unable to take his place in the side.

India made two changes in all, with Kuldeep Yadav coming in to the side to make his debut, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar comes in for Ishant Sharma.

Ajinkya Rahane will captain the side in Kohli's absence.

The Australian XI is unchanged from the third Test.
