Pakistani opener Sharjeel Khan has been banned by Pakistan's anti-corruption tribunal for five years after being found guilty of spot fixing.
Sharjeel was found guilty of five charges from his time playing in the county's domestic T20 competition, the Pakistan Super League.
"Sharjeel is banned for five years, which has two-and-a-half year suspended, after the proceedings of the case," Asghat Haider, who headed the three-member tribunal panel, said.
Sharjeel's ban will also be backdated to February 10, when his provisional suspension started, meaning the 28-year-old could theoretically return to cricket by August 2019.
He has played 25 ODIs, 15 T20 internationals and one Test for his country.
