Peter Siddle has named his best XI opposition side composed of players he came up against during the course of his time playing for Australia.
Siddle played 67 test matches and took 221 wickets in that time, none more memorable than the 6/54 he took against England at the GABBA in 2010 that included a memorable hat-trick.
Siddle played against some of the greats in his time, including Indian superstar Sachin Tendulkar, who was in fact Siddle's first wicket at international level in 2008.
“Sachin to be my first Test wicket was really, really amazing,” Siddle told cricket.com.au.
“He was on a few runs by then too. All in all, just to get my first Test wicket you know. I had to wait too long, once I did it felt good.”
Siddle's full best opposition XI list is:
Alastair Cook
Graeme Smith
Kumar Sangakkara
Sachin Tendulkar
AB de Villiers
Jacques Kallis
MS Dhoni (wk)
Stuart Broad
Dale Steyn
Rangana Herath
James Anderson
Ben Stokes (12th man)
