Perth Scorchers fast bowler Joel Paris will miss at least one month of action, and possibly the entire BBL06 season, after picking up an injury during Perth's intra-club match last Thursday.
Paris is struggling with what was diagnosed to be a side strain, and the injury is now expected to keep Paris out of action for four to six weeks.
It continues a bad run of injuries for the 24-year-old, as he missed the entire Matador One-Day Cup competition as well as the opening rounds of the Sheffield Shield season with a quad injury, and only made his return last week in the Western Australia Festival of Cricket match.
