The Melbourne Stars have dropped wicket-keeper Sam Harper from the squad to face Perth Scorchers in tomorrow nights BBL semi-final.

Harper played five matches for the Stars this season, only missing against Brisbane and when Peter Handscomb returned from International test and ODI duty.

Marcus Stoinis and Dan Worrall come into the squad for Harper and Cameron Gannon, with part-time keeper Seb Gotch being handed the gloves for the semi-final. Gotch famously kept against Brisbane in a short sleeve shirt.

Harper has only managed ten runs in his five innings in BBL06.

The Scorchers will go into the match unchanged.
