Rajasthan Royals have made history, completing the IPL'S highest ever run chase to secure victory over Kings XI Punjab.

Kings XI Punjab managed to blast their way to 2-223 from 20 overs, with Kings XI Punjab opener Mayank Agarwal posting 106 from just 50 balls.

At the end of the 15th over the Royals needed 84 runs from the final 30 balls to record victory.

Royals No.4 Rahul Tewatia hit five huge sixes in the 18th over as he smashed West Indies quick Sheldon Cottrell.

Tewatia worked his way into his innings slowly as he made his way to 17 from his first 23 balls before striking six sixes from his next seven balls.

The chase was set up by a partnership between Steve Smith (50 from 27 balls) and Sanju Samson, who blasted 85 from 42 deliveries with seven sixes of his own.
