Jake Lehmann has hit an incredible six on the final ball of the match to hand the Adelaide Strikers a stunning victory over the Hobart Hurricanes.

The Strikers managed to bowl Hobart all out for just 143, despite the Hurricanes at one stage looking on track for a big total, sitting comfortable at 2-92, before a collapse left their bowlers with a tough task.

Milenko took 3-25, while Tim Paine top scored for Hobart with 45 off 39 balls.

The Strikers' run chase went right down to the wire in reply, needing 35 off the final three overs. They looked home after Brad Hodge smashed 18 off the third last over, before he was clean bowled by Shaun Tait, bringing youngster Jake Lehmann to the crease, who had never faced a ball in the Big Bash.

Needing 10 to win off the final over, some good bowling left the Strikers needing four to win off the final ball. Enter Jake Lehmann.

The son of the current Australian cricket coach then smashed a half volley over the rope with his first ball to hand his side a stunning victory, officially knocking the Hurricanes out of the competition, with one match to play.
