Michael Bevan may have been one of the most underrated cricketers of his generation. While he only played 18 Tests, it was the 50-over format where he really made a name for himself, becoming one of the best finishers in the sport during his 232 ODIs for Australia.
He made six centuries during his career, but undoubtedly one of the best came during a clash against New Zealand at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, scoring a stunning 102 from just 95 balls, having come to the crease at 4 for 53 with the Aussies chasing 245 set by the Kiwis.
He only managed to find the boundary rope seven times, but combined with some cameos from the tail - Shane Warne scored 29, Brett Lee 27 and Andy Bichel 13 not out - Australia would pull off a famous victory.
