David Warner has produced a stunning knock, blasting 126 off just 59 balls. His innings helped set up a 48-run win for Hyderabad.

Kolkata won the toss and sent the Sunrisers in to bat. Little did they know what would come next.

Warner took hardly any time to get going, blasting a boundary off just his fourth ball. He did give the Knight Riders an opportunity on 13, however Chris Woakes couldn't pull in a very tough catch.

The Aussie then went into overdrive. His innings was a mixture of brilliant timing, flair, traditional cricket shots, and brute force.

He bought up his 50 off just 20 balls, and did so in style, switch hitting Sunil Narine for six. Warner's partner Shikhar Dhawan was on 8* when the Australian vice captain reached his fifty.

The carnage didn't stop there. Warner went on to blast all types of bowling. On 86, he did give Woakes another opportunity to dismiss him. This was a much easier chance, however the English international again failed to hold on.

At the end off the 11th over, Warner bought up his hundred, it came from just 43 balls. It is now the sixth fastest century in IPL history. Only one Australian sits above him on the list, Adam Gilchrist, who reached the mark in 42 deliveries in 2008.

Warner was eventually removed for 126 off 59 balls. His innings included eight sixes, and 10 fours. He left the crease with his side at 2/171, they would then finish their 20 overs at 3/209.

Nathan Coulter-Nile failed to repeat his heroics of last week, finishing with figures of 0/34 off four overs.

The chase did not start well for Kolkata, with both of their openers being removed by the middle of the third over.

A quickfire 50 from in-form batsman Robin Uthappa have their supporters some hope. However, he was removed for 53, all but ending the Knight Riders chances of a miracle victory. They finished their innings at 7/161.

Moises Henriques didn't have a great day with the ball, he was 0/31 off his three overs.

Warner was rightly awarded man of the match for his incredible knock. It was the 7th highest innings off all time in the IPL, and ranks number one for Australians.

He now moves to 3rd on the all-time list of centuries in the IPL. Both he and AB de Villiers have three, while Virat Kohli (4), and Chris Gayle (5), sit above them.
