Siddle in, Pattinson misses out

New Zealand have won the toss and elected to bat in Adelaide for the historic first ever day/night Test match.

James Pattinson was the unlucky Australian bowler to miss out, while Peter Siddle was included in the final XI after the retirement of Mitchell Johnson.

Kiwi all rounder Mitchell Santner has been named in the New Zealand squad to make his debut.
