Australia steamrolled the West Indies by an innings and 212 runs on day three, just five runs short of an all-time Frank Worrell record.

Crumbling to lose their final 12 wickets in less than two sessions amid a humiliating follow-on, signalled the death of Caribbean cricket at least in this country.

Pattinson (5-27) went wicket-less in a disappointing first-innings, frustrated at being unable to find his rhythm as speeds dropped below 130km/h and balls sprayed from side to side.

However, the turnaround was immediate and spectacular.
