With 20 matches of BBL06 now in the books, Zero Wicket's Player of the Tournament leaderboard is starting to take shape, as just 12 matches remain in the regular season.

Brisbane currently sit in first place with four wins from five matches, as Perth and the Sydney Sixers are hot on their tails with three wins a piece.

The remaining five sides all have two wins each, but Hobart and the Thunder have both played six matches, meaning those sides are up against it to make a finals berth.

As we enter the home stretch of the season, we at Zero Wicket thought it was time for an update on our Player of the Tournament leaderboard, and there's no surprise as to who leads the way so far.

Brisbane batsman Chris Lynn has had three Man-of-the-Match performances in his five outings this campaign, as 309 runs and 26 sixes for the tournament sees him alone on top of the leaderboard on nine votes.

Ben Dunk from Adelaide isn't too far behind him on seven votes, as Lynn's teammate Brendon McCullum is joined by Scorchers batsman Ian Bell on six.

A host of stars follow with vote tallies of five and four, as 45-year-old and BBL veteran Brad Hogg is the highest specialist bowler with five votes to his name.
