Australia beat India by five wickets in the opening ODI of the five-match series in Perth yesterday.

But despite the win, there is plenty of room for improvement and room for a few changes.

Dave Warner is out of the side as he heads home for the birth of his second child, while Usman Khawaja comes into the 13-man squad, throwing up a headache for selectors.

Should Shaun March or Usman Khawaja replace Warner at the top of the order?

ZW's preferred XI: Aaron Finch, Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith (c), George Bailey, Glenn Maxwell, James Faulkner, Matthew Wade (c), John Hastings, Josh Hazlewood, Scott Boland, Joel Paris.

Full Australian squad for second ODI in Brisbane: Steve Smith (c), Aaron Finch, George Bailey, Glenn Maxwell, Usman Khawaja, James Faulkner, Matthew Wade, Scott Boland, Joel Paris, Josh Hazlewood, John Hastings, Kane Richardson, Shaun Marsh.

The second ODI against India begins at 1.20pm local time on Friday at the Gabba in Brisbane.
