Cricket Australia chief executive Nick Hockley is the latest key member of the Ashes to test positive to COVID-19.
Both Australia and England have been forced to battle with the virus within their respective camps, with the former having lost middle-order batsman Travis Head for the fourth test in Sydney this week.
It was revealed shortly after Australia's Ashes Series win over the tourists in Melbourne that Head had tested positive to COVID-19, while opener Marcus Harris was also placed in isolation before being cleared.
England coach Chris Silverwood was among those in the British group to also contract the virus, placing further headaches on the tourist's summer.
Now, according to Code Sports' Daniel Cherny, Hockley joins the aforementioned list in testing positive to the virus.

It is understood that Hockley has not had contact with team members and is currently isolating with mild symptoms.
Hockley was appointed as CEO of Cricket Australia in May last year, having stepped into the role from interim chief executive Kevin Roberts.
Australian great Glenn McGrath also contracted the virus and remains questionable to be cleared to attend Jane McGrath day at the Sydney Test on Friday.
