Star Australian batsman Steve Smith will miss the remainder of the International T20 series against Sri Lanka after suffering a concussion in Sunday night's thrilling victory.
Smith was concussed in the final over of Sri Lanka's innings after a spectacular fielding attempt saw his head crash into the turf.
Smith required medical attention following the incident but returned to his feet shortly after and appeared to be more concerned as to whether he was successful in stopping the Sri Lankan six.
Unfortunately for Smith, the effort was in vain, with the match ending in a tie before Australia prevailed in a Super Over to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.
Smith will miss the remaining three matches of the series but is expected to be fine for Australia's tour of Pakistan.

It is not the first time Smith has been sidelined with concussion, having previously been sidelined twice in the past two-and-a-half years.
He was famously hit by a Joffra Archer bouncer in the 2019 Ashes in England, becoming the first player to be replaced but a concussion substitute after experiencing delayed symptoms and missing the second innings.
He then missed an entire ODI series against England in 2020 having been hit in the practice nets on the eve of the tour opener.
The news comes on back of Will Pucovski being subbed out of Victoria's Sheffield Shield clash with South Australia after suffering his 11th concussion, which has prompted questions over his long-term future.
