The Queensland Bulls have named their stand in one-day captain, with Usman Khawaja on tour with the Australian Test squad.

Batsman Chris Lynn will captain the side during the domestic one-day tournament to be held in Sydney in October.

Queensland finished third in last season's one-day cup, however, they will be forced to enter this year's tournament without three of their best players.

Star batsmen Usman Khawaja and Joe Burns will both be on tour with Australia, while last season's leading wicket taker for the Bulls, Peter George has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.
